After successful completion of the classroom phase, students are placed in rotation to drive by birth date order. Students can expect to drive closer to 90-120 days after the class. Once it is their turn, an instructor will call to schedule the required 6 hours of behind-the-wheel time.
The behind-the-wheel phase is usually held for 2 hours per day for approximately 3 days, depending on the schedule arranged by the parent and the instructor. There will be a minimum of two students in the vehicle at all times. The instructor will meet the students at a school or another public location and students are responsible for transportation to and from their lessons. Please make sure your student is on time for their lesson and picked up on time once the lesson is over. If you have a scheduling conflict, please contact the instructor you are scheduled with or call our main office for assistance.
PLEASE REMEMBER, ATTENDANCE AT EACH DRIVING SESSION IS VERY IMPORTANT. IT IS POLICY THAT AT LEAST 2 STUDENTS TO BE PRESENT TO HOLD A DRIVING SESSION. IF ONE STUDENT DOES NOT SHOW UP, THE OTHER STUDENT CANNOT DRIVE.
